Being from BC Garn, of course it is GOTS certified too (made from 80% Organic materials). Northern Lights is very soft but not woolly. The silk portion creates little highlights just like northern lights. The good climate properties of this yarn make it an indoor as well as outdoor yarn, suitable for sensitive adults as well as children and babies.
